AbbVie Announces Collaboration with Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

• 嚢胞性線維症財団（米国メリーランド州ベセスダ）との戦略的提携をアッヴィが発表した。財団が技術供与する嚢胞性線維症膜コンダクタンス制御因子（CFTR）増強剤の臨床開発に着手する。アッヴィはCF患者の転帰を改善するCFTR増強剤と中和分子の組み合わせを模索している。

　アッヴィは2013年からベルギーのガラパゴス社と提携して嚢胞性線維症に関する制御因子の研究に取り組んでいる。昨年（2018年）10月には提携契約を改訂し、複数の開発品目のフェーズ３試験費用を単独で負担し、成功時には独占販売権を得ることとした。
